On the 9th of November, OddGrooves played a show at Engelen in Stockholm. Jazz rock band Reform also played there and they were smokin'!
The gig went really well and we had a lot of fun. All keyboards were pre-recorded (except for 2 solos that I stumbled through live) and we had my MacBook Pro running Logic onstage - placed on an IKEA bookshelf on top of my keyboard stand, with the FW soundcard and external harddrive hanging more or less in thin air. Kind of scary, considering that both the keyboards and click track would die should the FW cable pop out. It actually happened during soundcheck but thankfully not during the show.
Next gig will be at Jazzclub Stampen in Gamla Stan, Stockholm on the 13 of December.
